Sudan, Africa has one of the highest rates of human-trafficking and modern-day slavery in the world.

Due to the war in Sudan, there are thousands of orphans in the South with no government infrastructure to help these vulnerable at-risk children. Make Way Partners is making a difference with the help of committed individuals like you through offering complete care by protecting, housing, feeding, medically treating and educating over 400 children through our indigenous ministry. 

The death rate of un-housed orphans is very high due to exposure to weather, wildlife, and rape. In 2006, more than 280 orphans died at night in our Nyamlell community directly because of not having housing.

By meeting more than the basic survival needs of these children and by ministering to both Darfur Refugees and Southern Sudanese children - we are helping to raise-up a generation of educated Peace Makers, rather than deprived revenge seekers.

Make Way Partners is a Christian agency working to combat and prevent human trafficking and all forms of modern-day slavery through education and action.

With your support we will also provide necessary care and repatriation for women who were sex-slaves in the North but have returned to the South with nothing. In addition to building dormitories, orphan care, and ministry for returning slaves, we have offered care to the larger community (the persecutors as well as the persecuted) by drilling wells to offer fresh water, building a medical clinic (free to all), provided discipleship and jobs all through our indigenous leadership.
