Speak Out:
Al
and Nancy Worthington
Last
spring an article in the Birmingham News opened our eyes to
the issue of human trafficking. Kimberly Smith of Make
Way Partners was interviewed about the growing problem and
the plan she had for rescuing these young people. After
meeting with Kimberly personally, we saw first hand her heart
and her passion. We knew God was leading us to become
involved. What better way to be obedient to the call
of Christ than to help those who have no other hope.
In Matthew 25: 38-40,
the people ask, “When saw we thee a stranger and took thee
in? or naked and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick
or in prison and came unto thee? “ And the King shall
answer and say unto them, “Verily, I say unto you, Inasmuch
as you have done it unto one of the least of these, my brethren,
you have done it unto me.”
God has given each
of us gifts to use in serving him. Please join us in
God's work to set the captives free!
