is a Child Sponsorship Dinner?
A Child Sponsorship
Dinner is a commitment to serve the children in Sudan
& in the D R Congo by sharing the joys of sponsorship
with your friends and family. You will find materials
below that will help make your dinner memorable. Contact
MWP in advance to be sent brochures and a DVD to share!
Why
is Child Sponsorship important?
There are at
least 30 million known victims of human trafficking
in the world today. More than half are children. Orphans
are the most vulnerable people group. Sudan has an estimated
one million orphans. Make Way Partners is building an
anti-trafficking orphan-care network throughout Sudan
and in D R Congo. We currently have an orphanages on
the border of Darfur protecting nearly 500 children;
we are also developing two hundred additional acres
near the border of Uganda in Moti, Sudan; and we have
also begun protecting about 40 orphans in Goma, D R
Congo. Through child sponsorship, you are helping Make
Way Partners grow a true orphan-care network to save,
heal, protect and prepare thousands of at-risk orphans
for leadership.
