Even though Satan declared war against mankind (Rev. 12: 7-17), Jesus promises us that He is raising up a Church so strong that even the gates of Hell can't keep it out! (Mat. 16:18) Through that power Make Way Partners shares the Hope of the Gospel with the most vulnerable & least protected to end human trafficking and modern-day slavery.

Here is how we live it out in Eastern Europe:

In Eastern Europe, Make Way Partners also develops and assists in indigenously managed ministries providing care for those at-risk to human trafficking in Transnestria, Moldova and Bucharest, Romania.

In Romania, the “Sewer Children” provide a practically inexhaustible resource to Traffickers. Therefore, the value of human life is extremely low to those who profit from these children's enslavement.

Children are abused, raped or beaten to death in the sex slave trade, professional begging or in forced manual labor camps. Then they are easily (and cheaply) replaced from this abundant ‘pool' of destitute children barely surviving in the sewers of Romania.

Our Romanian ministry offers protection, training, discipleship and other forms of assistance for those at high risk of modern-day slavery.
