Kimberly L Smith with some of the orphans Make Way Partners provides complete care for - NubaPassionate to go where children are at most risk and with the fewest resources, Make Way Partners goes straight to the heart of war, civil conflict, extreme poverty and lawless lands where hunger, disease, poverty and war work hand-in-hand with traffickers’ plans to prey upon the vulnerable. The mega money-making machine of human trafficking preys and profits most savagely upon widows and orphans living in the midst of war, extreme poverty and remote isolation. Even the children who may survive hunger, disease and war lose parents and are left to fend for themselves.

Together we can do so much to change that. Since 2003, God has already opened doors for us to rescue, protect, heal and equip for leadership hundreds of orphans in Sudan & South Sudan who have little hope without our intervention. This humble beginning is just that: a beginning.

In China: Its Spiritual Needs and Claims, J. Hudson Taylor wrote: “What does the Master teach? Is it not that if one sheep out of a hundred be lost, we are to leave the ninety and nine and seek that one? But here, the proportions are almost reversed, and we stay home with the one sheep and take no heed to the ninety and nine perishing ones!”

By the grace of God through individual support, corporate funding and collaborative partnerships, we are committed to invest ourselves in and build a generation of “pure religion.” According to James 1:27 “pure religion” is to tend to the widows and orphans. This is no small task. It will take the entire Body of Christ working together to be effective. Suit up and join us today. Together we can end modern-day slavery.

A Few Important Things You Should Know About MWP

Proverbs ElijahI.  MWP is a member of the Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability (ECFA) and adheres to all its practices for transparency and ministry effectiveness.  They have recently released The Choice, a book about achieving Kingdom outcomes which greatly describes the way in which MWP works.

II.  We acknowledge that the evil we fight never sleeps.  We accept that we may not be successful in every battle, and thus humbly submit, knowing that we are not called to success.  Rather, we are called to be faithful in all God asks of us.  Acting in that faithfulness, we leave the outcomes in His Hands.

III.  When you sponsor an unadoptable orphan, or give toward any specific designated project, 100% of your donation goes toward your choice.  MWP does not withhold any administrative fees from these donations.

IV.  MWP Child Sponsorship program provides complete care not supplemental care.  Because we work in war zones, with no governmental infrastructure to care for the children, we build their homes, schools, churches, and clinics, along with providing all of their food, medicine, teachers, discipleship, and 24-hour armed security.

V.  Each of our ministries are 100% indigenously led.  MWP provides a network of prayer warriors who follow MWP President Kimberly Smith Highland’s blog—which provides real-time prayer needs as our children’s lives unfold in a war zone, ongoing staff training, full financial support for all programs, as well as accountability.

VI.  Your gifts are literally saving thousands of unadoptable orphans for whom there are no other hands reaching out.

Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their distress, and refuse to let the world corrupt us. -James 1:27
